A true Muslim is a peace-maker, not a hate preacher or a murderer

My letter most likely won’t get published because I am speaking the truth but I won’t give up writing. I just want my small voice to be heard; even it is just you or somebody else reading this. As an Australian Muslim, I am truly sorry for what happened in London and I pray for the victims because my religion teaches me to sympathies with others in times of crisis. My religion also teaches me to uphold justice when dealing with an enemy. Senator Pauline Hanson may not agree with me but she cannot see what lies in my heart. Love and Respect for all

In February, a few anti-Islam groups are gathering in Sydney and Melbourne for an expensive dinner in the name of protecting freedom of speech. They will argue that Islam is on the rise and is extending its oppressive rule across the country. As a Muslim belonging to the Ahmadiyya Community, I disagree that Islam is an oppressive religion. Since Wednesday, thousands of Ahmadi Muslims have gathered to listen to speeches on how to raise the standards of worship of God and how to treat fellow humankind with respect. This unique event attracted hundreds of non-Muslim guests, including the Mayor of...

She made her ill-informed opinion after reading Andrew Bolt’s commentary linking immigration policies to terrorism. I am surprised that Ms Kruger chose to blindly accept Mr Bolt’s comments that were biased and false. I would like to point out to Ms Kruger that banning Muslims from entering a country is not the solution to end extremism. Banning Islamic practices is not the solution either. I belong to the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, a sect that is...
